Prototype 1

My first prototype of my website had a map as the main interface. The reasoning for having a map at the core of my website is that people like to see visually and spatially. A map provides both those features and allow the user to understand what is in proximity of a point of interest. For the purpose of this first prototype I used a very simple map but I was already considering whether a road map or a topographical map would be best for my project. This prototype helped me understand what kind of information I wanted to display at the same time. There are four tabs that can be toggled open or closed for the location facts, weather forecasts, weather averages and what an expert in the area has to say about that location.
