Grossinger's 3rd Dimension
Grossinger’s 3rd Dimension is a project that explores the concept of archiving spaces in an interactive platform. The site documented for this project is an abandoned resort in the Catskills Mountains in New York. The space was mainly captured using a DJI Inspire 1 drone. Photography, video, 3D scans and VR are the different mediums to experience the location.
This project was a way to explore the technologies that can be utilized to preserve a decaying or changing place. For the purpose of this project my group and I selected a resort in the Catskills that used to be a popular vacation spot for New Yorkers. Since a lot of the spaces in the resort were unsafe for us to physically enter we used drones to safely photograph and film.

This project was made using DJI Inspire 1, DJI Phantom, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, RoundMe.
